ONX + AMELIA
POLICIES + GUIDELINES

updated January 22, 2024

To best prepare for class, please read the policies and guidelines below to learn about what we’re doing to keep our studio squeaky clean and what you can do to keep yourself healthy and our spaces safe.

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • A $10 late fee or forfeiture of a class for package holders will be assessed to all waitlisted in studio class cancelations made within 2 hours of class start time. This late cancelation fee does not apply to waitlisted students admitted into class who are unable to attend.

Safety + Cleanliness
Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities, every class. We pride ourselves on maintaining an impeccably clean studio environment, and use hospital-grade disinfectants on all floors, equipment, and high-touch surfaces. In addition to keeping the studio spaces squeaky-clean, we are implementing the following until further notice:

  • Equipment: Although weights and equipment are provided for all students, students are welcome to bring their own weights to class if they choose. All used studio weights and equipment are sanitized throughout each day.

  • Studio Spaces: our studio is cleaned between each class, and deep cleaned twice per day. Our lobby and shower rooms are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

  • Clean shoes for Burnout class: we ask that you bring a pair of shoes separate from those you wear to the studio.

Student Experience
In addition to in-studio safety + cleanliness procedures, please see the below in regards to information about in studio classes:

  • Class capacities: Students may place their mats and/or themselves wherever they’d like in class, but we ask that they respect the teacher’s space and allow room on either side of the teacher’s mat. This helps our Zoom students see the instructor more clearly, too.

  • Waitlists: please enable waitlist notifications to be notified when you’ve been admitted into class and to accept or decline your spot. Log into our student account in the top right corner of this screen and navigate to Personal Details on your profile. Under “Reminders and Schedule Changes” select “text”, and ensure your mobile number is current.

  • Check-in: please check in at the front desk upon arrival.

Attendance Policies

  • Pre-registration is encouraged for all in studio + and required for all Zoom classes. Students may pre-register using the MindBody app, the ONX + Amelia app or our website. Students must be signed up and paid for class ahead of time. Students who have not paid for a Zoom class will not be admitted from the waiting room. Students who do not pre-register and arrive to take a waitlisted class cannot be guaranteed a spot in class. Please take care when registering for class, as there is an in studio + separate Zoom registration for most of our weekly classes.

  • Late Cancelation Fee: a $10 late fee or forfeiture of a class for package holders will be assessed to all waitlisted in studio class cancelations made within 2 hours of class start time.

    • This late cancelation fee does not apply to waitlisted students admitted into class who are unable to attend.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We do not permit harassment of any kind. Harassment is unwelcome verbal or non-verbal conduct that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward the person and has the purpose or effect of creating an environment that a reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile, or abusive. Harassment includes epithets, slurs, name calling, negative stereotyping, insults, intimidation, ridicule, threatening, intimidating or hostile acts, denigrating jokes, and display in the workplace of written or graphic material that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual or group. Petty slights, annoyances, and isolated minor incidents may not rise to the level of harassment.

We do not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind. Sexual harassment refers to any unwelcome sexual attention, sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:

•      Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for decisions affecting such individual;

•      The advances have already been explicitly declined;

•      Such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment.

Examples of sexual harassment include unwanted and unnecessary physical contact; offensive remarks (including unwelcome comments about appearance); obscene jokes or other inappropriate use of sexually offensive language; and unwelcome sexual advances. Non-physical gesture, behavior, unnecessary physical contact, verbal suggestion, or innuendo may constitute sexual harassment.

Anyone found to be in violation of our Zero Tolerance Policy may be removed from the premises temporarily or permanently at the sole discretion of management and ownership.
