Pop-up: FlowLIIFT with Sophie (Northeast)

What it is: LIIFT: Lift Intentionally Including Form + Technique. This class begins with a dynamic 30 minute heated Power Yoga flow followed by an unheated 20 minute block of focused strength work and 10 minutes of cooldown + stretching.

Unlike Yoga CircHIIT, this class marries a flowing Power Yoga sequence with a single 20 minute heavy weight effort that targets 2-3 muscle groups only (targeted muscles will change in every class). You’ll learn proper form and technique to strengthen targeted muscle groups safely and effectively, making this an all levels class whether you’re experienced with weights or trying them for the first time.

There are no burpees or jumping jacks in this format; it’s purely yoga + strength.

WORKSHOP: Long Holds Practice + Workshop - Awareness on What Surfaces with Cidākāsa & Vicāra Meditation with Andy B. (St Paul)

What it is: Long Holds Practice - Awareness on What Surfaces with Cidākāsa & Vicāra Meditation

Join Andy for a grounding and introspective practice designed to reveal what lies beneath the surface of stillness. Through Long Posture Holds, we’ll create the inner space for distractions, emotions, and unconscious patterns to gently arise — not to resist them, but to witness them with compassion and awareness. To close the workshop, Andy will guide us through an opportunity to journal our experience.

Guided by the principles of Cidākāsa (the space of pure consciousness) and Vicāra (inquiry and contemplation), this session invites you to rest in the vastness of awareness itself. As thoughts and sensations emerge, we practice separating from identification — “I am not my thoughts” — and begin to meet ourselves beyond the noise of the mind.

This practice cultivates witness consciousness and encourages the experience of emptiness not as absence, but as the spacious ground through which true connection and self-recognition unfold.

"Emptiness becomes the bridge between what we are not and what we truly are."

Friday, Nov 21 | 6:30p - 8:30p at O+A Saint Paul | Price: $20 O+A Unlimited members | $25 non-members

Power Yoga: Movement + Mythology with Tom (St. Paul + Livestream)

What it is: an all-levels heated Vinyasa-style yoga class that matches breath with movement. Some yoga experience is encouraged, but not required.

This month in Tom’s class, we complete our journey through the Niyamas, the second limb of the Eightfold Path, with a focus on Īśvarapraṇidhāna: Surrender to something greater. Inspired by the story of Rāvaṇa’s fierce devotion to Shiva, this practice explores the dance between effort and release. We’ll build heat with balance and control, preparing for headstand, moving through pistol squat variations, and softening into backbends to counter. Myth and movement guide us toward the kind of surrender that is not weakness, but worship.

This class is held in studio + live-streamed via Zoom, and pre-registration is required. The Zoom link can be found on our website under the OUR CLASSES tab.
